What charger should you use?
For the simplest setup, choose a standards-compliant USB-C charger whose relevant port can provide at least 60W when you want to meet this preset’s fast-charge / supply reference, then use a cable rated for the same path capacity. A larger charger is normally fine with standards-compliant USB-C charging because the device negotiates what it uses.
What happens below the target?
The 45W minimum in this preset is manufacturer-published. Between that minimum and the 60W fast-charge / supply reference, the device may charge but not at the advertised fastest rate. Higher-rated chargers do not force extra power into the device.
Why the cable and port still matter
A charger brick's total rating does not guarantee the same power on every port. WattageFit compares the remaining shared charger budget, selected port limit, cable rating and preset target. The reported wattage is available path capacity — not a live measurement of what the device is actually drawing.
